About the model:
This Esso petrol station was designed in the early 1950s by the Dutch architect W. Dudok. The basic architecture was used in different versions for both larger motorway petrol stations and smaller urban petrol stations. The architecture, which still looks modern today, had a clear influence on the design of petrol stations in the 1960s and 1970s.
